Katie

Katie is thriving. While she still cannot open her eyes completely (Severe Ptosis) she can track items and faces and the parts of the eye appear to be in tact. I beleive she can see.
I also know her health being consistent and the tests Scottish Rite ran on her coming back clear, or free of issues- is a direct relation to the prayers being offered for her. It doesn't make any other sense.

We are still in the process of finalizing Katie's adoption. We have to meet with the social worker in our home two times then we petition the court for a date. We're very hopeful to finish in 2008.

We adore Katie and Haley and feel fortunate to have two beautiful gifts to raise in the Christian faith and grow into upstanding young ladies.

My girls

Big sister Haley is adjusting pretty well to this new baby. Haley didn't know how much time mommy and daddy would have to give Katie, so sometimes when Katie is crying Haley will say "she wants her sister" and will plug the crying with the pacifier! Too funny.

Mostly Haley loves Katie and just kisses on her.
We are grateful to have such precious girls.

Welcome Katie!

Mom me and Katie. Katherine Grace arrived August 20 and we are thankful to have her.
